Michela Sandron

EU Communications and Media Specialist

Michela is EPICO’s EU Communications and Media Specialist, based in Brussels.

She supports EPICO’s communications and outreach activities, working on social media content, press relations, and event coordination. She also writes EPICO’s monthly newsletter, which highlights EPICO’s relevance within the broader policy landscape, while informing subscribers about the most pertinent debates in the Brussels bubble.

Before joining EPICO, Michela worked as Communications Manager at European Business Summits, delivering communications strategies for high-level policy events. She previously served as Adviser to the Press Office of the Mission of Italy to the United Nations in New York, where she contributed to diplomatic outreach and media relations.

Michela holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Organisation from the University of Groningen and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Bologna. As part of her undergraduate studies, she completed an Erasmus exchange at the University of Salamanca’s Faculty of History and Geography. She later pursued a postgraduate course in diplomatic studies at LUISS University in Rome, focusing on public diplomacy.
