The EPICO Policy Accelerator™ is our innovation format for effective energy and climate policy. Since 2021, we have been actively connecting stakeholders from politics, science, business, and civil society to jointly develop concrete, actionable policy solutions. The foundation is a clearly structured, multi-stage process focused on agenda-setting, meaningful participation, and methodological rigour. The aim is to identify key issues, outline challenges, and propose solutions – all within a condensed, results-oriented format.
What sets the EPICO Policy Accelerator™ apart
With the EPICO Policy Accelerator™, we go beyond conventional workshop formats – strategic, solution-driven, and impactful. At the heart of the process lies a design thinking approach, which we apply to the development of policy proposals in the fields of energy, industry, and climate. Within the Accelerator, agile and diverse teams work on clearly defined challenges. Their proposed solutions are discussed in a constructive and critical manner by external challengers with high subject-matter expertise. This input feeds directly into the further development of the proposals.
