Barbara Vanotti is EPICO’s EU Media and Communications Specialist.
With over two years of experience in the think tank sector, Barbara manages EPICO’s relations with EU and Brussels-based media. She is responsible for the think tank’s communications strategy, digital campaigns, and organisation of events in Brussels.
Before joining EPICO, Barbara worked for the European Policy Centre, a think tank based in Brussels, managing press relations, collaborating in the publication process, and overseeing the promotion of events and projects on the EPC’s website and social media accounts.
She studied English and American Literature at the University of Exeter (UK), obtained an M.A. in Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory from King’s College London (UK), and a Master’s Degree in Advanced Global Studies from Università Cattolica in Milan (Italy), where she focused on the implementation of the Green Deal at the local level.
Barbara is passionate about finding new communications strategies and developing multimedia content. She is also a member of the European Campaign Playbook, a network of EU communications professionals. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and watching docuseries on Netflix.
