EPICO joins the dena and Breakthrough Energy’s Tech-for-Net-Zero Alliance
EPICO KlimaInnovation has joined the Tech-for-Net-Zero-Alliance, which the German Energy Agency (dena) has launched together with Breakthrough Energy. The alliance, which focuses on innovation-friendly framework conditions for greater climate protection, brings together expertise from climate tech start-ups, investors, research institutions and think tanks, including EPICO KlimaInnovation.
"Innovation must be a central building block of any strategy for climate neutrality. We need to be more courageous, faster and more consistent in driving innovation. This is the only way to strengthen our competitiveness in the global future markets for climate-friendly technologies. Especially with the decisive course being set in the field of climate protection at the German, European and global level this year, this is of central importance. We are therefore pleased to be involved in the Tech-for-Net-Zero Alliance together with 15 other organisations, which will discuss innovation topics in several roundtables in the coming months and seek an exchange with politicians on this topic," explains Dr Bernd Weber, founder and executive director of EPICO KlimaInnovation.
The alliance has identified the four sectors of energy, buildings, industry and mobility as central fields of action. EPICO KlimaInnovation will contribute its expertise in market- and innovation-oriented climate and energy policy to the process.
