The European Parliament started its 10th mandate and the new College of Commissioners will soon be confirmed. In an ever-more volatile geopolitical arena, the challenge of green industrial transformation requires a strategic approach that spans across sectors and engages a wide spectrum of stakeholders.

In striving to increase energy resilience and retain industrial competitiveness, Europe needs to achieve low-emission industrial production and transition away from natural gas with clean and resilient technologies. Mario Draghi’s report on competitiveness and Enrico Letta’s report on the Single Market provide valuable blueprints for a coordinated EU common approach to decarbonisation. A well-designed European Clean Industrial Deal is now crucial to meet ambitious climate objectives and instrumental in stimulating economic growth, enhancing prosperity, and fostering job creation.

This in-person panel discussion, organised in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung - Europe office, will discuss how to boost Europe's energy resilience through decarbonisation.

A light dinner reception will be served after the panel discussion.
