Before starting at EPICO in 2022, Sam gained several professional experience, including as the last intern of the European Commission Permanent Representation to the UK, and as an intern at the Energy Community and the Brussels consultancy APCO Worldwide.

A dual British and Italian national, Sam studied in Italy, Hungary, the UK, Turkey, and Belgium, building expertise in EU policymaking and developing a strong interest in the EU’s potential to fight against climate change and achieve net zero.

Sam has contributed to several EPICO publications, covering topics ranging from hydrogen policy to the electricity market design. He has co-written related op-eds and represented EPICO at various panel discussions across Europe and Latin America.
